Sunday Quickie #1

Hey lovelies!

Hope you guys had a great weekend. It's depressing how the weekend raced by and its Monday again tomorrow, especially when you're having fun. :(

Anyhoos, I am starting a Sunday Quickie series on Through Beauty Eyes, where I will do a quick recap of my weekend and maybe preview of my upcoming post (if and when) I am a fail-weekend-blogger busy over the weekend and am unable to do a proper post.

So, what did yours truly get up to over the weekend? :P

FRIDAY: Rocking Schwarzkopf Magic Hair Clip-On Extensions (Will do a detailed introductory and review post soon!) courtesy of SweatyBettyPR with curls using Modiva Curling Iron
Absolutely loving the long, wavy locks look - am definitely leaving my hair to grow again (since I have been having short/medium length bob cut for the past 2.5 years).

SATURDAY: Had my BEST facial experience with Kiehl's Paddington, complementary of the Kiehl's is growing, Price is Sinking event . Once again, I will leave the details for another post, but seriously, the massage I got from the lovely Sae was pretty damn orgasmic!

Granny sweater from Market City/ Jeans from Levis/ Thongs from Havaianas/ Ring from Equip
SATURDAY: Finally got myself a "granny sweater" from Market City,  one of the winter wears that I have been lemming for AGES!

SUNDAY: Absolutely loving my new rings from DIVA and granny sweater I bought on Saturday. :)

SUNDAY: Decided to play with my new Modiva Curling Iron while waiting for my friend to pick me up. Although I have only been using it for 2 days, I am already loving Modiva Curling Iron so far!

SUNDAY: Camwhoring while waiting, best way to kill time. :P
What do you think about wavy curls on me? Yay or Nay?

Tea Set @ Tara Tea Room, The Rocks
SUNDAY: We were such gluttons, this was our dessert after a scrumptious lunch @ Pancakes at The Rocks. The scones and jam were freaking' delicious!

SUNDAY: Ended the night with The Hangover 2. Had such an awesome abs workout from all the laughter but some scenes were pretty sick too. Not to mention, Bradley Cooper was so hot! <3 Definitely recommendable. :)

It was an awesome weekend, which went passed a tad too quickly. My plan to update my resume and this blog did not quite happen but I did get some swatches during the day.

Anyways, I shall stop rambling any further.
Have a great week ahead lovelies!!
It's gonna be a cold and wet morning tomorrow in Sydney, that only means Adeline is gonna be cranky. :( #MondayBlues.

SEVEN WONDERS MOROCCAN RANGE PREVIEW

Hi lovelies,

How was everyone's long weekend? Hope you guys did something that is more interesting than dating your textbooks and notes. :) Whilst taking my 4823098420348023th study break for the day, I decided to do a quick post regarding an awesome package I received from Wordstorm 2 weeks ago. :)

Let's rewind back to about a month ago when Jenny from contacted me and asked if I am interested in trying out products from the Seven Wonders Moroccan Range. Unless you have been living under a rock, you should of known by now that #MoroccanOil (using hash tags in a blog post is an indictor of over usage of Twitter lol)  is one of the trending topics in the beauty world and probably heard how awesome #MoroccanOil products are.

This was the pretty gift bag that was delivered to my office filled with some chocolates and the Moroccan Range products.

The products were nicely packed in a box (pictured above) with postcards of Australia 6 wonders and the the products in the box are Seven Wonders

SEVEN WONDERS is an Australian owned natural hair care brand offering all natural, salon grade styling products, treatments and shampoos and conditioners. All products are made using organic ingredients and are chemical free. The Moroccan Treatment range is Seven Wonders newest addition.

Mark Baker, Co-owner of Seven Wonders said, "Unlike the other moroccan oil products on the market, the Seven Wonders range uses only organic Argan oil and is free from harsh chemicals such as paraben and harsh preservatives. The organic Argan oil has an oil balance feature, which is able to hydrate dry hair and spread and balance excess in oil hair, leaving a shine without greasiness. It will also dramatically reduce blow drying time."

RRP: $34.95 for 125mL Moroccan Oil Treatment

The Seven Wonders Moroccan Oil Range is available at health food stores and pharmacies nation wide, or www.sevenwonders.com.au for a full list of stockists.
Throughout April and May, Seven Wonders is offering a free Moroccan Oil treatment to anyone who purchases three products from the the Seven Wonders range - participating outlets only.  For more information, visit www.sevenwonders.com.au.

I have just started trying out these products and will do a detailed review on them after a month. Be patient and the detailed review will be out in no time. :)

Have any of you tried Moroccan Oil? Does it work miracle?

REVIEW: Wondercap Hair Treatment

This post has been collecting dust in my drafts for the longest time ever!!! It was drafted right before my Christmas break and it has been hibernating in there since then. =.="

Having to reborn (I believe that's the term used for permanent Japanese hair straightening) annually ever since I was 15, with a couple of dyes and highlights in between, my hair is not exactly the healthiest. I never really looked after my hair up until the last couple of years when I decided to show my hair some TLC.

Of course, it would be ideal if I can get a hair treatment in the salon every few months but thats definitely not part of "prudent spending" which I have been trying to enforced and it can only be a rare treat when  I deserve it. =.=" The only DIY treatment I get is probably from hair mask.

You can probably imagine how excited I was when Jenny contacted me and asked if I would like to try Wondercap - a DIY hair treatment at home, which is a "must have" hair essential. :)

Wondercap is a wheat- pack hair treatment that gives you fast and convenient way to boost your hair mask treatment.

The conventional way to get heat to your head during a deep conditioning hair treatment at home was to wrap your hair in gladwrap and hot wet towels. However, the wet towels only stayed warm for a couple of minutes and not to mention, it's quite a hassle too.

How to use it:
1. Shampoo your hair, rinse and pat dry.
2. Comb through Wondercap Guardian Angel Intensive Conditioning Treatment (Supplied).
3. Tuck Hair into disposable shower cap supplied.
4. Heat Wondercap in Microwave for 90 seconds on high and then increments until desired temperature is reached.
5. Place warm Wondercap on hair for 3-5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

How Wondercap works:
The heat from the Wondercap opens up your hair cuticles, allowing the hair mask to nourish and replace moisturiser in the inner hair shaft. This will maximise the effectiveness of hair conditioning treatment. All it takes is 5 minutes of your time. :)

What I think of the product?
My hair feels EXTREMELY soft and smooth after using Wondercap, almost as though like I have just gotten my hair treatment in the salon. And the best part is - you don't have to spend hours to achieve the results. Personally, I find the warm Wondercap soothing and relaxing, especially after a long day. However, I gotta admit, I should be using this amazing product more often and it will probably achieve an amazing result if combined with my favourite Essentials Honey Shea Butter Hair Mask. But due to the lazy bones of mine, especially after work and gym, microwaving the Wondercap for a mere 90seconds seems like an effort to me. =.="

Will I recommend this product?
I do recommend this product for those of you who'd like to achieve a salon-like hair, ie smooth and shiny within 5 minutes, this is definitely something you should check out!

RRP: $59.95(NZ Dollars) for Wondercap pack which includes showercap, Wondercap and 50mL Guardian Angel hair treatment.
The Wondercap range is available at the Wondercap Website,  selected Price Attack and Shaver Shop stores Australia wide.

Is Wondercap a product you will try out?
If you decided to try out this product, do let me know what you think about the product. :)
