FOTD - Subtle and Neutral Smokey Look ft Circle Lenses

Hey lovelies,

I know I haven't really been a good blogger lately, with 1 post a week. I shall not bore you with another I-am-so-busy-excuse and lets get started. For those of you who have been following my blog/twitter would of known that I have started full time work about a month ago. That being said, I have became less creative with my eye make up because firstly, it doesn't look too professional to rock up to work with an epic smokey eyes or something like a colourful peacock eyes and secondly, I just couldn't be bothered thinking which colour goes well with which early in the morning.

That probably explains why the NYX eyeshadow trio below (TS03) has been my favourite/on-the-go eyeshadows lately. It has all the colours you need to to create a subtle, neutral smokey look and it's super inexpensive too! I got mine from CherryCulture. =)

L - R: Nude, Taupe and DarkBrown

As you can see from the palette, there are some fall outs and Taupe is the chalkiest of all. I have heard some reviews about how the trios aren't as good as NYX Single Eyeshadows. Gotta agree with that but I still love trio of mine!

Nude - Taupe - DarkBrown
I always use nude as a highlight colour, taupe as all over my lid colour and dark brown on my crease and outer V. It's all about blending baby, to create the perfect look!

Also, I have FINALLY received my EOS circle lenses from MUKUCHU on Monday. This is my FIRST ever circle lenses with the right power as I have relatively high astigmatism compared to most people. For those of you who have the same problem as me, fret no more! MUKUCHU has a whole new range of circle TORIC lenses.

EOS Circle Lenses in BROWN

Close Up
As you can see, it doesn't make THAT much of a difference as my original eye colour is dark brown. My first impression after putting them on is - I look much more animated. I will write up a more detailed review in the next couple of days or so as I have been wearing them everyday since then.
Stay tune for that!

ANYWAYS,
lets get back to eye make up shall we? Lol.

Do my eyes look biggerrrrr?

On my EYES

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Airy Fairy

With Flash
Flash is like my biggest enemy when it comes to taking close up shots as it further puffs my face up URGH. And, I am pretty sure that my right eye is bigger than my left =.=""""

Since I just got my circle lenses and my eyes look 10000x better than it already is, that means more selfless, narcissist camwhore shots. =P
( I have changed my Airy Fairy Lipstick to Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Pink Blush)

Without Flash
Does my eyes look more animated now?
*pouts*
Peace out, bro! LOL

What is your favourite/ on-the-go eyeshadow palette that you reach out for every morning?
