Review: Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil

Ever since I have discovered the awesomeness of gel liner, I pretty much stopped using pencil liner on my upper lash line, and maybe liquid liner occasionally because gel liner's line is much more precise and sharp. However, I have finally used pencil liner again on my upper lash line (although not very frequently) after my Milani Liquif'eye Metalic Eyeliner Pencils purchase. I have seen many positive reviews about Milani Eyeliner Pencils for quite a while before I finally bought some for myself. For those who don't already know, I live on the other side of the globe (ie, the land down under) and shipping costs is usually a bitch and I am a tight arse when it comes to that LOL. But I couldn't resist the 20% off all products on Cherry Culture during their Labour Day sale. Speaking of which, Cherry Culture is currently having a Halloween Special - 20% off all products too! Check it out if you're interested. :)

Back to the pencils,

I bought 4 out of the 5 colours - Black, Gold, Blue and Brown. I figured I am not much of a silver liner person and hence decided to give it a miss.

PRODUCT (5/5) - As you can see from the swatches above, the colours are SUPER pigmented and the texture is extremely creamy. And the best thing about this eye liner is, it is truly 100% smudge proof. I know there are 8042384023423 other pencil liners out there claiming they are smudge proof but in fact, they are only 50% smudge proof. The Milani Liquif'eye Metalic Eyeliner Pencil IS indeed, 100% smudge proof. The eyeliner on my lower lash line tend to smudge after long hours albeit I don't have oily skin, which can be annoying at times. The eyeliner stay on all day (approximately 12 hours) with no smudging or whatsoever, even when I use it on my upper lash line. This is definitely my HG eyeliner pencil!

PRICE (5/5) - Pricing at USD 5.45 per pencil, you can't really complain much about the price, can you? (although I did pay for shipping cost) It is however, still relatively cheap compared to the cosmetics here in Australia. Definitely worth every penny paid! I was actually thinking of stocking up because of the Halloween Special Cherry Culture sale but my shopping cart is sitting at a shocking $80ish at the moment, and I really don't NEED anymore make up. SO, I think I will pass this time. :( For $5.45 - 20% + shipping costs, it is worth every penny paid. :)

Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil is said to be a very close dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencils. What do you reckon? Personally, I think Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil trumps UD 24/7 Eye Pencils as the Urban Decay eyepencil does smudge sometimes. Also, as you can see from the swatches above, Milani's eyeliner is definitely more pigmented. And not to mention, 1/3 of the price too. :)

WILL I REPURCHASE IT?
FO SHIZZLES! Like mentioned above, I was actually gonna make use of Cherry Culture's 20% sale and stock it up but decided to be good and wait till their next sale. Definitely gonna be my on-the-go/HG eyeliner until I find a better replacement (with better quality at a lower price)!

Have you guys tried Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil?
Yay or Nay?

XOXO,
A

I'm a huge fan of Milani eyeliners, I don't have these ones. I have just whatever the plain pencil liners are in brown, black, and a blue color.
These totally trump the UD ones!
