FOTD - Tiny Dancer ft Hang Loose

Lately, I find myself reaching out for the neutral single eye shadows a lot and alternating between them instead of playing with my 88 warm shadow palette or Alice in the Wonderland palette. I think I am just lazy like this - opening the palette and going through them to find the suitable colours seems to be too much of an effort. =.="

This is another neutral FOTD using Sports Girl's Tiny Dancer (review here) and ELF Single Eyeshadow in Raspberry Truffles for a quick & neutral eyes :) I have been ignoring Tiny Dancer for quite a while as I have been using NYX Single Eyeshadow in Champagne a lot. They are both great over the lids colour but Tiny Dancer is a tad more shimmery with tiny shimmer bits in it and is on the peachy side.

On my EYES
MAC Bare Study Paintpot
Sports Girl's Single Eyeshadow in Tiny Dancer (All over the lid)
ELF Single Eyeshadow in Raspberry Truffles (Crease and outer corner)
MAC MSF in Candlelight ( Browbone)
Maybelline Eyestudio Drama Lasting Eyeliner in Black (Upper lash line)
ELF Single Eyeshadow in Amethyst (Lower lash line)
Cover Girl Lash Blast Waterproof Mascara in Black
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel

On my FACE
Etude House Magic BB Cream
Garnier 2-in-1 tinted eye roll-on
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Ivory Light
MAC Mineralized Blush Duo in Hang Loose (In The Groove Collection)

On my LIPS
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Carnation

Yes, I changed my top because my pink sweat shirt was too crumpled and it looks like I have just rolled out of bed. =.="

Constipated, double-chin look. Attractive much?

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Carnation & Mauve are my favourite lipsticks at the moment as I am currently in the pink/mauve lipstick phase.

What is your current lipstick phase? :)

FOTD ft MAC In The Groove

So, the whole MAC In The Groove hype has been circulating around the beauty blogosphere for quite a while and I have been looking forward to them since then. Living in the land down under not only means we have to pay a much higher price for these babies, there's also a time lag when it comes to the launching date.

Having such high anticipation on this collection also means that I have to check them out on the launch date itself, which was Monday, the 26th.
Being the sensible *cough* shopper I am, I managed to control myself not to go crazy at the MAC Counter and limit myself to 3 items. *Pats self at the back*

The 3 items that I got:
MAC Lipstick in Jazzed
MAC MSF in Stereo Rose
MAC Mineralized Blush in Hang Loose

I knew I had to get Hang Loose and Jazzed the moment I saw the swatches from temptalia. A little confession here, I did decide to get Stereo Rose because of all the hype, at the start. However, when the Make Up Artist in MAC applied it onto my cheeks, I knew it was a right decision made. =)

I am still debating whether I should get Mac Lipstick in I Like It Like That. It's a blue-based opaque pink but it reminds me of BubbleGum when I swatched it, just slightly more opaque than Bubblegum and a little creamier. It's such a pretty colour but blowing A$35 on a lipstick similar to the colour I already have doesn't exactly spell sensible.

Did any of you get I Like It Like That?
YAY or NAY?

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

So, I had an interview (which turned out to be a 5 minute "chat session" and I did not get the role :( ) on Monday and I wore the Neutral Smokey Eye look *click* without the falsies and the Barry M Dazzle Dust.

I made an otherwise simple look a lil more vibrant by applying Stereo Rose & Jazzed and have I not already mentioned, HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM?♥♥♥

The coral peach lipstick matches my scarf that day and I absolutely love the glow I get from Stereo Rose. :)

- Without Flash-
Money well spent, nuff said :)

As much as I love them, I probably wouldn't wear it as often as it is more of a summer colour and the weather in Sydney lately has been anything but summer-ish. Think cold and wet. Will probably wait till the arrival of spring before I go crazy with them again, which is in about 5 weeks time! Can't wait!!! :D

What did you get from the In The Groove Collection? Any of the above?

FOTD - Everyday Neutral Smokey Eyes

Hey lovelies,

How's your weekend so far? Time flies when you're having a great time. Thank god I have tomorrow off work but I have a few errands to run, an interview to go to (wish me luck!) AND its the launch of MAC In The Groove Collection here in Australia (bit late I know, its Australia we're talking about =.=") I foresee a productive day tomorrow and my wallet is probably ain't gonna be too happy at the end of the day too.

This is my FAVOURITE on the go look when I am on the rush or during the days where I am lack of creativity juice.

Smokey - checked
Easy - checked
Awesome - CHECKED

This is definitely my favourite everyday neutral look - neutral smokey eyes with pinkie lips  :)
On days where I want to keep my eye make up to the minimum, I would leave Barry M Dazzle Dust and the falsies out of the equation and voila, good to go babyyy! :)

Is this the perfect everyday neutral look for you?
If not, what's your favourite everyday neutral look?
