Happy Sunday everyone!
The sun is finally out after a whole miserable week and half of cold and WET weather. Apparently, it's gonna be sunny all of next week. Like, finally! A quick errands run turned out to be a mini shopping trip with a pair of new runners (finally!) and heaps of PINK storage items from Hot Dollar. I should really be sitting at my desk typing my audit assignment away =.=" After this post, I promise.

One of the many downsides of working full time while blogging part time is, unable to attend day events due to work commitments. Thank god for after work hours events. =) However, when I received the invite to Lancome Media Launch with the presence of an international speaker, I knew I had to take half a day off work for it.
And I am glad I did. Work was pretty bad for me that week that I am on the verge of hitting breaking point and I would feel even worst if I missed such a great event because of something shit.
The was held at a private residence @ Vaucluse, one of the most affluent suburbs in Sydney. Needless to say, all the beauty bloggers were blown away by the jaw-dropping harbour view from the mansion!
Sugar daddy, where are you? LOL

We were really honoured to have Veronique Delvigne at this event as she only attends 10-12 events a year if memory serves me right! Although I gotta admit, I was kinda lost most of the time when she was explaining all the carbon bonds and molecules concepts behind Vissionnaire... Gone were the days where I was a Bio-nerd, I iz an accountant nowz!

The Maison Lancome Vintage Fresh Glow is an absolute gem! I am not sure if you are able to tell from the photo above, but there's an eiffel tower printed on the bronzer side!!! Definitely more of a collective item than something I would use.

Pitt stop trois - Tre´sor Midnight Rose Fragance
Lancome tells a new love story, filled with lightness, magic but also sensuality. Steming away from their usual more mature scent, Tre´sor Midnight Rose is a colourful and joyful scent which embodies a mischievous feminity.
From the very first moment, it's love at first sight between deep rose absolute and vibrant, raspberry. Next, is jasmine and peony meet fresh blackcurrent bud absolute and intense pink pepper. And for the final touch of seduction, Virginia cedar essence, vanilla and musk warm up the floral notes.
The oh-so-gorgeous Emma Watson is the new iconic ambassadress of Lancome, and played the part in the romantic game of hide-and-seek in the romantic capital of the world, Paris. This short film was played during the introduction speech and needless to say, Emma was stunning as usual and her sweetheart in the film (which was apparently a French actor) was drop-dead-gorgeous too. D'UHHHH!
Like I mentioned earlier, I was never really into Lancome's fragrances as whilst they smell good, they are targeted for the more mature group. With the new Tre´sor Midnight Rose, the scent is slightly more youthful with the hint of blackcurrent yet maintaining its sophistication!!
I fell in love with this scent the moment it sipped through my sensory system. The dazzling packaging gets extra brownie points too - delicate gradation of powdery pink to violet, with a blossomed purple satin rose attached to its diamond-cut cap! Love it when companies put in extra effort in the packaging. Look does matter in this instances! =)
