TBE How To: Electric Blue Smokey Eyes

My apologies. I know I am really behind with my updates, with a few posts sitting in the draft department waiting to make its grand appearance. I should skip the I-am-so-busy-excuse and jump right into today's post. :D

This was a look I created a couple of weeks ago, when I had a quiet night out with my girls - dinner, dessert, drinks, and of course endless gossips and bitching. Gotta girls night out like this. I was in the mood to create something different from my usual smokey eyes with neutral colours or my neutral pop look and I remembered that I have this electric blue sample pigment I received along with my order from CrushCosmetics sometime ago, which is collecting dust in the deserted corner of my make up stash.

VOILA, an electric blue smokey eyes it is. :D I haven't worn such bold colours in a VERY long time and I love how the electric blue gives a lift to the entire look. I know for sure, this pigment is going to make its appearance very soon again :)

I know falsies will make the whole look even more dramatic and make my eyes look larger. However, my last few attempts with falsies were total disaster thanks to the shit lashglue I am currently having. It took me HALF AN HOUR the last time I tried applying my falsies. URGH, we need better accessibility to DUO and Ardell Lash Glue.

A quick blog-torial on how to create this look:

-Outfit of the night-

What do you think of the look? Is it too bold for your liking or is it something you would wear on a Saturday night out?

XOXO,
A

@Zoe: Thanks :) I prefer my earthy, neutral colours too :D

@EeVon:I like bold colours but I find it too much for a day wear (That's why I only experience more dramatic look when I go to work...)

@Susie: Naww.. thanks hun. You look gorgeous in your FOTD too! :D

@With Love,Elle: It was just a spur of a moment thing that I decided to mix those 2 colours. :) Thanks for following me hun :D
