2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp #3 - GERMANY

Through Beauty Eyes 2014 FIFA World Cup Inspired Make Up - GERMANY

I am putting my bet (not literally) on Germany to win this World Cup although they are currently sitting on a draw at 49 minutes as I write up the post!

EYES

Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Dolly Wink Eyebrow Pencil
Benefit Australia They Are Real Liner
Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil in Black
Dolly Wink Volume Mascara in Black
Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Hype (Fundamental Palette)
LILY LOLA Mineral Eyeshadow (Matte Brown)
I Nuovi Eyeshadow in Siren Red
Urban Decay The Black Palette in Black Dog

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
 2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp - GERMANY

1. After applying my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (this would intensify the bright colours and keep them in place), gently pack on the any vibrant yellow eyeshadow from your collection (I am using Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Hype from the Fundamental palette) across the inner third of your upper lid.

2. Then, apply a matte brown eyeshadow (mine is from LILY LOLO Mineral Cosmetics) on the outer third of my lid and along my crease and meet the end of my yellow eyeshadow (leaving the centre part of my lid free).

3. This is probably the hardest step and if you're fairly new with makeup, maybe apply your foundation after you have done the eyes. Apply your blackest eyeshadow (using Black Dog from my Urban Decay Black Palette), creating a "V" at the outer corner of my lid (make sure the "V" is smaller than the area of the matte brown eyeshadow!) and slowly blend them together.

4. Finally gently pack on the brightest red eyeshadow you have on the centre of lid (I am using I Nuovi Eyeshadow in Siren Red ) and blend all three colours together. Gently. You may need to go back and reapply the yellow & red eyeshadows as they might lose some intensity whilst blending!

5. I used Benefit Australia's new #BenefitRealLiner on my upper lashline and Milani's Liquif'eye Pencil Eyeliner in Black to line my lower lashline. I then set it with the same Black Dog eyeshadow and to soften to look.

6. To finish off, apply a few generous coat of your favourite mascara. As always, you have the option to apply falsies to further intensify the look.

FACE

2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp #2 - Netherlands

Howdy!

How are we with the whole world cup fever? I bet many of your body clocks are going through a roller coaster ride at the moment - in a way, I am glad my football-obsession-days were over! ;)

N E T H E R L A N D S  is the second instalment of this series - just in time before the Socceroos V Netherlands match tonight!

If you have missed the first instalment for Brazil, check it out HERE

Through Beauty Eyes 2014 FIFA World Cup Inspired Make Up - Netherlands

This look is way more straight forward and easier to create compared to the Brazil look! :)

INGLOT Freedom Palette & NYX Eyeshadow in Africa
These are the colours/ palettes I used to create this look but as per always, feel free to make use of whatever colours you have in your stash - all the colours you need today are Orange, Matte Coral Red, Matte Peach (to blend) and a black eyeshadow.

 EYES

Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Face of Australia Eye Brow Kit
Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil in Black
Dolly Wink Volume Mascara in Black
ORANGE (#1) | NYX Eyeshadow in Africa
MATTE CORAL RED (#2) | INGLOT Freedom Palette
MATTE PEACH (#3) | INGLOT Freedom Palette
BLACK Eyeshadow | Urban Decay The Black Palette in Black Dog

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp - Netherlands

1. After applying the eyeshadow primer and cream eyeshadow (I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk), gently pack on the orange (#1 in photo - NYX Eyeshadow in Africa) across the first 2/3 of your upper lid and 1/3 of the inner corner of your lower lashline.

2. Then, apply a matte coral red eyeshadow (#2 in photo from my INGLOT freedom palette), creating a "V" at the outer corner of my lid.

3. This is where the magic happens, pick up some of the matte peach colour (#3 in photo from my INGLOT freedom palette) using your blending brush and apply it across your crease, blending the orange and matte coral red eyeshadow together to remove all harsh lines.

4. Using an angled brush and pack on the black eyeshadow, line 2/3 of your lower lashline and wing it out. I reapplied at least 3 times to give a smokier effect, to balance out the bright colours on my upper lid.

5. As for the upper lashline, I just tight lined using Milani's Liquif'eye Pencil Eyeliner to make my lash appear fuller. I skipped the liquid liner step as I think it would be a little overkill with the bright lids.

6. To finish off, apply a few generous coat of your favourite mascara.

As an alternative, you can always add on falsies to give a more dramatic effect. I think my HG Dolly Wink Volume Mascara does its job pretty well. ;)

2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp #1 - Brazil

So, World Cup fever doesn’t necessarily have to revolve around the actual soccer ball (or football) itself.

Especially for us chicas, the FIFA world cup gives us more reasons to rock bright and colourful looks during the tournament. (Not that we need any reasons to – but as I grow older, I tend to stay on the “safe side” and haven’t been exploring colourful FOTD as much as I used to do. Is it just me or are there anyone else with me? :P)

So,after a random playtime and experiment last Friday in conjunction with the open ceromony of 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup, I decided to create this ThroughBeautyEyes 2014 FIFA World Cup Inspired Make Up series.

This series will consist of make up based on the World Cup theme over the couse of this tournament - not neccessarily in the order of countries I support!

ThroughBeautyEyes 2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp - Brazil

Of course, Brazil will be the first instalment in this series, being the host country and all ;)

Illamasqua Fundamental Palette | INGLOT Freedom Palette | Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Palette in Pride
These are the palettes I used to create this look but feel free to make use of whatever colours you have in your stash - all you need is bright yellow, green and dark blue eyeshadows. AND of course, a very good blending blush!

EYES

Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Edgy Emerald
Face of Australia Eye Brow Kit
Dolly Wink Liquid Liner
(I replaced it with Face of Australia Budge Proof Gel Liner in Brilliant Blue in my step-to-step tutorial guide)
Dolly Wink Volume Mascara in Black
YELLOW (#1) | Illamasqua Fundamental Palette - Powder shadow in Hype (#1)
GREEN | INGLOT Eyeshadow (#2) + Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Pride (#3)
BLUE | Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Pride (#4)

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
2014 #FIFAWorldCup Inspired MakeUp - Brazil

1. After priming your eyes with a primer and set the base with a cream eyeshadow (I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Edgy Emerald here), gently pack on the green eyeshadow on the centre of the lid, leaving out the inner and outter corner of your eyes.

2. Then, apply the dark blue eyeshadow at the outter corner of your eyes, creating a "V" shape and bringing it slightly into your crease.

3. Next, apply a bright matte yellow eyeshadow (using Illamasqua Hype from the Fundamental Palette) at the inner corner of your eyes, dragging it down to your inner tear duct area/ lower lash line.

4. BLEND, BLEND & BLEND all three colours together. You may lose some of the intensity of the colours, just go back and pack on more colours and blend it until there are no harsh lines and reached the intensity you are looking for.

5. Line your upper lash line with either a black or dark blue eyeliner and create a wing.

6. Then, line 1/3 of your bottom lash line with the same eyeliner and connect it to the wing.

7. Set the eyeliner with the same blue eyeshadow that you use on your outter V.

8. Line the middle (1/3) of your lower lash line with the green eyeshadow you used on your eyelid.

To finish off the look, apply a few generous coats of your favourite mascara (mine is Dolly Wink volume mascara - no surprises here) and to magnify the effect of this look, you may add on some falsies but I wasn't quite up for that. ;)

PRODUCTS I LOVE #3

One of the few things that gets me really excited is discount.

Great discount.

Not your pathetic get $5 rebate for spending $200 (which is a mere 2.5% off btw) or 10% off some low price point items.

Who's with me?

Well, great news to you beauty lovers, my favourite drugstore in town, Priceline (kinda like Walmart in the States but not as cool) will be having 40% off all beauty products today(19 Nov 2013) and tomorrow (20 Nov 2013)!

This Products I Love segment will be a few of my recommendations of products that are “Hot Right Now”, some were provided for trial by the brands and some were purchased but they are all my current FAVs (and a few repurchased item!):

-          Face of Australia Budge Proof Eyeshadows in Violet Rays, Bling Bling & Bronze Sphinx*
I have raved about these eyeshadows in my recent Products I Love: Spring Edition post a while ago and still loving them. They are part of my daily make up routine – colours depending on my mood and weather of the day. Violet Rays is perfect for smokey eyes, Bling Bling for summer-peachy look and Bronze Sphinx for your fail-proof neutral eyes. Click HERE for swatches.

-          Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Concealer in Light
This concealer contains Olay regerist serum and specially-blended pigments to combat dark circles. The creamy consistency, hydrating and lasting formula made this a star product! I bought this about a month ago and have already gone through half a tub of it. The hoarding nature in me is considering buying a backup because you know, I have 10 pair of eyes that need concealing daily. #hoarderproblems

-          Cover Girl Clean Glow Blusher in 100 Roses*
I was sent this blusher about 3 weeks ago and it has become my almost every-day blush since. 100 roses is a natural, warm berry colour which goes perfectly well with my darker skin in the hotter days. I like to pair this with my Nude by Nature Natural Bronzer for the sunkissed look.

-          Face of Australia Carnivale in Summer Lovin (Bright Pink), Mango Slurpee (Orange) and Masquerade (Purple with Glitter Chunks)*

TOP: Summer Lovin; BOTTOM: Mango Slurpee

Remember all those mornings when you wake up only to realise that your freshly painted nails are filled with sheet marks? Well, sheet marks is now a trend with the brand new sandy finish formula for both Summer Lovin and Mango Slurpee.
As for Masquerade, it’s the ideal choice of polish when you are looking for something girly and “loud” with ALL THE GLITTERS!

-          Cover Girl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in 215 (Baby Pink) and 235 (Coral)*
Hotter days = sweaty me = light-weighted products will take preference for day to day wear. I am still very much in love with my bold, pigmented  lipsticks but these Gloss Balms are a better alternative on a scorching, casual day out. Lasting power is amazing and pigmentation is pretty good for a “gloss balm” – not overly sheer as I am not a fan of sheer colour balm. Definitely a summer handbag essential, me thinks.

-          Nude by Nature Mineral Foundation in Medium
My HG mineral foundation - had repurchased this twice, once HERE and another one made in the last Priceline 40% sales. As I have pretty sensitive skin and it goes cray cray on me from time to time, this is probably the only “foundation” that is able to provide decent coverage and doesn’t sting. My everyday face routine involves this + tinted moisturiser or BB cream depending on the coverage I am looking for.

-          Nude by Nature Natural Bronzer
My to – go Summer bronzer. First discovered this in my goodie bag from Miss Universe Australia 2011 Party and had also repurchased this in the last Priceline 40% sales. This colour is a little too dark for winter but perfect for summer. It works best with a huge blush brush that allows you to blend evenly. Don’t use anything to dense as you will probably end up looking like Snooki. :P

-          Face of Australia Eyebrow Kit*
As you can see, the gel part is almost hitting pan. I use this on most days (except lazy days) and its one of the best eyebrow kits in the market. Love that it doesn’t have a hefty price tag for a product of such high quality. WIN. On to my 40% shopping list you go, Mr Eyebrow Kit.

-          Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel
This has been my HG Eyebrow pencil before I discovered the Face of Australia Eyebrow Kit. I still use this on a lazy day when I ceebs drawing my brows with a brush and I always have one of these in my makeup bag – just in case any touch up is required.
40% off – definitely stocking up. #GottaStopBeingAHoader

-          Face of Australia Tinted Moisturiser*
I am a huge fan of tinted moisturiser for day-to-day use and selected BB creams (which doesn’t result in me looking like a geisha). For full coverage, I am definitely loyal to my HG foundation  - Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation (as seen HERE and HERE).  Mild coverage, light weight and matching skin tone makes this my daily pick – to be applied before applying the Nude by Nature Mineral Foundation in medium.

-          Australis Curve Eyeliner (not pictured)
With the curve design making flicking achievable, even for amateurs, this is my second favourite eyeliner after my HG Dolly Wink Liquid Liner (which is irreplaceable at the moment). I bought this when I ran out of my Dolly Wink Liquid Liner and was pretty impressed with it. Easy to control, dark and pigmented ( don’t you just hate those liquid liner which aren’t and appears like a grey line when applied?) and the ultra thin brush means that you could control the thickness of your line when applying. Bingo.
To repurchase or not, considering that I still have a backup of my Dolly Wink Liquid Liner?

Hope you're taking advantage of this 40% off on Priceline! However, make sure you don't overspend and be a massive hoarder like me
A little tip: MAKE a list before entering the store before unnecessary damage. :P

Want longer lasting...............................Make up?

(Dear Sydneysiders, remember the billboard? And no, we ain't talking about sex here today. :P)

I have my fair share of events to attend in my duo life as a beauty blogger. It's great if its in the morning because I will have a fresh face of make up (although getting out of bed would have been a mission). However, most of them are usually held after work. Not that I'm complaining because its pretty sweet to wind down a busy day after work with a glass (or a few) whilst playing with new beauty products. See, I'm quite a lazy person - touching up an entire face of make up after a long day is quite a chore and I try to avoid it as much as I could.

THANK GOD after playing and trialling a million and one different products, I have came up with my long-lasting day make up and doesn't take more than 5 minutes to touch up (or 10 if I decide to slap some falsies on!) which involves cleaning up my undereye with a concealer and further intensify my eyeliner (and maybe reapply the blushes depending on the blush I'm using that day). And of course, finishing up with my trusty setting powder and apply the power lipstick of the day.

Without further ado, let's get to these products!

The main and "core" products that keep my face from melting away - also what I called the
"skeleton" products:

Face Primer: Dermalogica Age Smart Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30*
I have never really been a huge fan of face primer as I tend to have really dry skin and most of the time, I am ok with almost flawless foundation routine with my freckles still feasible. HOWEVER, my life changed when I discovered this baby! It's velvety texture glides on my face like silk to form the perfect canvas base for my foundation application. This primer is pretty pigmented with a neutral, colour correcting tint that evens out my skin tone. So, my dears, a little does go a long way here.

Foundation: Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation (#11)
Always go back to this baby if I want that flawless, porceleine finish. #11 is my perfect match for foundation and doesn't leave me looking like Snow "White".  This foundation provides full coverage with a natural matte finish (yes this is possible!) and it lasts forever!! By forever, I meant all day, all night.

However, I might take a step back on this foundation as the temperature rises as I find it a little too heavy in the warmer months. And, it's all about the freckles in summer, right?

Concealer: Borjois Healthy Mix Concealer in Apricot
If you have been reading Through Beauty Eyes, you would have known I am a HUGE fan of Benefit Fake Up concealer (especially after a night of shenanigans! I gave you some tips on how to hide your "I am so effing hungover" face HERE.). As the coverage of the Skin Base Foundation is pretty solid, I rarely find myself requiring heaving concealing. A tiny pea size of this concealer is enough to cover any remaining dark circles I have and around my nose and it blends with my Skin Base foundation pretty awesomely, just like a dream.

Setting Powder: MAC Mineralized Skin Finish (Medium)
BEST setting powder ever and I am onto my second one already. I set it after applying my foundation and concealer and set it again after my blush and contouring routine. No, I do not look like a cakeface and this is why I love MSF!

This is my "perfect" face routine at the moment as most of the time, I find myself needing to touch up my face make up by the end of the day before any night events. Not with this golden combination however. The most I would do is just to mattify my face a little with MAC Mineralized Skin Finish (if I am not too lazy, that is :P)

Eye Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion
I don't think I need further explanation on this, do I?

Eyebrow: Face of Australia Eyebrow Kit*
Cheap cheap, create that ideal brows that last all day - what more can you ask for from an eyebrow kit? And to support your local brand!

Eyeliner: Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner
This has been my HG eyeliner over the past 1.5 years and I am probably on my 6th or 7th one now. Perfect felt tip that makes it easy to create that gorgeous cat winged eye and most importantly, it doesn't crease! Did I mention it has now been repackaged and the tube is pink? (Not that it's an important factor, but pink is always brownies point :P)

It is available on Sasa.Com but I usually stock mine up when I am over in Asia.

Eyeliner: Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner in Black
Another HG Eyeliner pencil which I have been using for years and repurchased countless times. Did a detailed review and swatches almost THREE years ago HERE - yeap have been a loyal fan since then. If you are looking for an affordable, pigmented and crease prove pencil eyeliner, you might have just found the one

Mascara: Dolly Wink Volume Mascara (Purple Tube)
HG Mascara, nuff said. Just like the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner, I have been going through tubes after tubes over the past 2 years. This works amazingly well on my Asian lashes and give me half decent curls that holds and volume. In fact, this puts me off falsies for the past 2 years as I am pretty damn satisfied with applying it on its own, until I discovered Katy Perry's KAPOW falsies of course.

As for my eyes, I go with either the neutral taupe/gold smokey eyes (when I am wearing bright, bold lippies) or purple-grey smokey eyes (for days when I prefer the subtle lip colours over loud ones)

Neutral taupe/ gold smokey eyes

Creme Eyeshadow: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze & Bold Gold
I LOVE these little pot of awesomeness - works well on its own for a quick over the lid colour or perfect as a base to hold your eyeshadow even better. This + UDPP = killer combination to ensure your eyeshadow stays!

Eyeshadow: INGLOT Freedom Palette (AMC Shine #34, Matte 378 & Pearl 422
After rediscovering my INGLOT palette which I conveniently ignored not long after purchasing them two years ago, I was reminded how great these eyeshadows are! Super pigmented and vibrant, minimum fall outs and doesn't crease! No touch up needed at all when I use them!

Purple-grey smokey eyes

Creme Eyeshadow: Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Illusoire
This is my favourite purple-grey-ish (forgive me for the lack of better word) colour and like the Maybelline Color Tattoo, it works perfectly well as a base or on its own. Except, this costs you a few extra plates of dumprings money. :P

Eyeshadow: Smashbox Girls On Film Softbox Eyeshadow Palette*
(reviewed and swatched HERE)
I am usually good to go with Minx + Sienna but on days that I felt like a heavier look, I would add a matte black/ burgundy shadow to further intensify the smokey look. Easy peasy.

Katy Perry X One Direction Fragrance
Lashes: Katy Perry KAPOW lashes* (Massive rave about it HERE
As seen in my recent post, I am a HUGE fan of this natural - looking lashes with a hint of purple tone and have been rocking them at every launches I went and Friday night drinks. ABSOLUTE DARLING!

A fresh look at 8amin the morning!

This is how it looks at 11pm - as you can see apart from a slight smudging at my lower eyes, the rest of my make up is still pretty intact! All I did was touch up my blush, apply falsies, mattify my face with MAC MSF and apply a bright lip colour!

And the eye make up is almost as fresh as 7am in the morning!

You can check out my FAV lip products for a night out/ events HERE

4 TIPS & TRICKS (PLUS EXTRAS) TO HIDE YOUR "I-AM-SO-EFFING-HUNGOVER" FACE

Sometimes, the life of a beauty blogger can be tough, especially when you have a full time job and gym commitment (Yes, working out is part of my full time job too :P)

I am not sure if I am actually being sarcastic there because truth to be told, I quite enjoy the events and launches (can be found on Through Beauty Eyes Social Diaries ). I mean, what's not to love when you get to check out and play with new products, catch up with the lovely bloggers over a glass (or perhaps a few) bubbles or vino and meeting new peeps?
[My latest wrap up of the recent events around Sydney can be found HERE. ]

Whilst I do enjoy attending these social events - let's be real here, I am turning into an old hag and ain't 21 anymore. AND, rocking up to an event looking like Amanda Bynes isn't an option either.

THANK GOD for my fav HG products and a few tips and tricks that prevent that from happening - which I will be sharing with you girls today!

How do I hide my "I-am-so-effing-hungover" look and look fresh the next day?

1. HYDRATE the f*ck out of your skin

It's a no brainer that alcohol sucks up every possible drip of H20 in your body - especially when you go a little overboard with them wine. (It's rude to say no when the waitresses kept coming back for a top up :P) Apart from skulling heaps of water and coconut water (this stuff works WONDERS when you're feeling the aftermath of wine), don't forget to give your skin some extra hydration.

My recommendation: Hada Labo Moisturising Serum

I love this serum - one of my must-purchase items every time I am back in Asia for holidays. Its texture is in between a cleanser and serum, which feels extremely hydrating on the skin. I apply this before applying my moisturiser - an instant hydration boost to the skin!

2. Use an eye "cooler" to reduce puffiness of the eyes and cover it up with hydrating concealer

My recommendation: Benefit #FakeUP Concealer* and Make Up Store Moisturising Eye Roll-On*

The Eye Roll-On has a cooling effect and reduces the puffiness under your eyes. Perfecto! The last thing you want is bringing out your eye bags with the wrong concealer and adding that extra "lines" cos your under eye is so dry! Benefit #FakeUp Concealer is life-changing and has been my to-go-to concealer most days, especially after a big night out.  I have raved about it on my Love List 5 - Beauty Edition post.

3. Bright and bold lips makes everything better.

True story dot com.

I have always been a huge fan of bright lips - and the fact that it instantly brightens up my look makes me love it even more.

My current favorite picks are:

From left to right:
CK One Glorious (deep red)
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 107 (perfect berry/ wine colour for autumn)
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 111 (chilli red)
Models Prefer Infinite LipLiner in Forever Pink (Bright Coral Fuchsia)
Maybelline Lipstick in Vivid Rose (Bright Coral Fuchsia)
MAC Candy Yum Yum (Cool Barbie Pink with Purple Undertone)
Make Up Store Sparkling Lipstick in Blackcurrent (Not pictured)

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 107

CK One Glorious

Rimmel Lasting By Kate Lipstick in 107 on top of CK One Lip Rouge in Glorious

Maybelline Vivid Rose on Top of CK One Glorious

MAC Candy Yum Yum

Make Up Store Sparkling Lipstick in Blackcurrent

4. Highlight the high points of your face to brighten your look and give you an instant "lift"

My pick: Illamasqua Supernatural Gleam Cream

This bronze "illuminator" is a little different from your usual pearly/ white highlighter. It's a coppery-bronze highlight with "iridescent pearlescent pigments", which can be used alone or with foundation. I usually apply it on the apples of my cheeks (and apply my blush of day on top), cheek bones and nose bridge for that coppery glow. Perfect for giving your look a warm lift!

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

A little advice from the Editor:

Don't forget to take some time off the social scenes and pamper yourself. Be it a facial (if you have extra cash to splurge) or "mask time" at home or a massage.
Invest in scented candles, a good magazine and enjoy it with a cuppa tea in bed.
Don't #FOMO 24/7!

Currently loving:

Dermalogica Hydrating Masque

I pamper myself with a mask session once every 2-3 weeks (I know I should be doing it weekly but did I mention I am kinda lazy? :P) and have been loving Dermalogica Hydrating Masque!  It's extremely hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated after getting in touch with my skin (see what I did there? :P) for a good 15 minutes!

Glasshouse Fragrance in Galapagos (Lime and Cocoa Butter) - quite a refreshing scent but I am loving my new Glasshouse Triple Scented Fragrance in Tahaa (Vanila Caramel) I recently bought! My room now smells like Peter Alexander <3 nbsp="">

CollectiveHub Magazine

If you haven't already heard of this magazine, you should get on it like, right NOW.

Renegade Collective is the love child of Lisa Messanger - which focuses on inspirations and entrepreneurship. So, I am quite a sucker for glossy covers and pretty magazines and more often than not, I always end up purchasing magazines with mediocre content. Renegade Collective is the first and only magazine that I actually look forward to the next issue before finishing the final page of the current issue.

Lean start up, successful entrepreneur stories, strategies, inspiration.... all in one magazine.

Whilst the price is a little on the steep side (retailing at$12.95) compared to most magazine, its well worth every penny of yours. And not to mention, a highly engaging community too where Lisa actually replies to your Tweet and Instagram messages!

DMK Enzyme Facial @ The Laser Lounge*

Enzyme facial is designed to remove dead protein, toxins and other effluvia from the epidermis using a process called 'reverse osmosis'. The enzymes aim to strengthen the structural integrity of the skin, exercises facial muscles and works to leave the skin feeling firm.

(My apologies for the unedited, gross photo - but that's how it looks like when the enzymes "harden up")

This reminds me of homemade egg mask, except better. It does feel a little uncomfortable when the enzyme "hardens up" (as pictured above) but it felt like I was given a set of new skin after removing all my dead skin. I was fortunate enough to be given a complimentary treatment by The Laser Lounge a while ago - but it seems about time to book in my next "relaxing" sesh soon?

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

Models Prefer Infinite Lip Liner in Forever Pink + Maybelline Lipstick in Vivid Rose
(another new favourite combination of mine!)

Bright lips DOES make it better :)

Those are my few tip & tricks as well as some fav products to hide my hungover face after a big night out!

What are yours mini tricks to hide your hungover face?
