Wet & Wild FOTD Series - Vanity in Matte

So, it has been a while since I last posted a Wet & Wild Series and I think it deserves some love again. Just a quick post before I get ready for work. Yes, I woke up at such ungodly hour to do some readings for my Audit assignment and blog. #dedication

This is actually my first attempt using the matte over the lid colour from my Vanity palette as I am usually a shimmer kinda girl. 

This is also my I-am-lazy-and-couldn't-be-bothered-to-be-creative-eye-make-up.

[EVENT] LANCOME MEDIA LAUNCH - VISIONNAIRE, 29 St Honore´Fall Color Collection and Tresor Midnight Rose fragrance

Happy Sunday everyone! 

The sun is finally out after a whole miserable week and half of cold and WET weather. Apparently, it's gonna be sunny all of next week. Like, finally! A quick errands run turned out to be a mini shopping trip with a pair of new runners (finally!) and heaps of PINK storage items from Hot Dollar. I should really be sitting at my desk typing my audit assignment away =.=" After this post, I promise.

One of the many downsides of working full time while blogging part time is, unable to attend day events due to work commitments. Thank god for after work hours events. =) However, when I received the invite to Lancome Media Launch with the presence of an international speaker, I knew I had to take half a day off work for it. 

And I am glad I did.  Work was pretty bad for me that week that I am on the verge of hitting breaking point and I would feel even worst if I missed such a great event because of something shit. 

The was held at a private residence @ Vaucluse, one of the most affluent suburbs in Sydney. Needless to say, all the beauty bloggers were blown away by the jaw-dropping harbour view from the mansion! 

Sugar daddy, where are you? LOL

FOTD - Molten Gold Smokey Eyes

Whaddup ladies? 

Hope you are all well. I am surviving Day 02 of my Schkinny Mainny Detox Program at the moment. I was meant to do a 5 days cleanse program but realised it's way too intense and changed it to 3 days cleanse program and a 2 days Juice-till-dinner program. I will write more about it in the next post or two. So stay tune if you are looking to have a good cleanse of your body after all the winter food you have pumped in all winter. 

Definitely not looking forward to Day 03, especially with the 8am start tomorrow! Not when its freezing cold and wet in Sydney. #dreadful

Just a quick FOTD post to keep my blogging streak going before dying off again as I have an assignment due on the 1st of August. Boohoo! 

This was the look I had during my End of Financial Year party which was held on the 1 July 2011 (another strong evidence of how backlogged I am =.=")

Instead of the usual browns and bronzes, I stepped out of the comfort zone a little, not too far  though as I am still working in a professional environment and using "creative" as an excuse for bold and over the top make up doesn't seem to quite work and replaced it with this molten gold eyeshadow from Shu Uemura.

PHOTOLOG #1

Hey lovelies!!!

What did you get up during the weekend? I had an extremely quiet one on Friday, hoping to be able to do some Audit readings on Saturday but clearly, that did not quite happen. Instead, I slept in till 12:30pm (Ahhhh, sleeping in in this weather is such a bliss!!!), blogged (like, finally), catch up on blogs reading, edit my photos and watched Valentines Day (yeh, 5 months slow). Feel like a total sloth. =.=" 

Weather has been wet and gloomy all day, hence I wasn't able to take photos of swatches and products. Thus, any reviews or swatches of products that I have recently bought/ received will have to wait.

Anyhoos, I will be starting this new "Photolog" series - which is showcase random snippets of my life with photos. In another words, it's the "lazy" way of blogging. =P  

The first Photolog post will be a random Sunday a couple of weeks ago with my brunch buddy - Miss Wendy Ko, who now blogs on WendyAndCo. Do drop by her blog and show her some love <3

Lets have some scones with some tea darlin'

It comes with 2 jams of our choice, sour cream and double cream to go along with the yummy scones. We chose some plum-ish and pear-ish jam. (how descriptive I know but this was a couple of weeks ago and I no longer have the memory of a 12 yo)

It costs us $10.50 each for the scones above and tea. Pretty good deal in my opinion!

We will be experimenting a new brunch area later around Paddington area, will definitely keep you guys posted! I am STILL contemplating if I should hit the gym before our brunch sesh as I have stuffed my face with heaps of junks yesterday (think: Cadbury flakes and ROAST DUCK) and I will be doing a 5-days-detox/cleanse program from Monday onwards, courtesy of Schkinny Maninny. Don't think I will be able to hit the gym then when I am surviving on juices and herbal tea.

MY BAD for not posting for the past week, I swear I had heaps of posts and edited photos waiting to see the world but I have been exhausted pretty much the entire of last week. And weekend, well just say my liver isn't too happy. The cold factor was definitely the cause of Adeline being an absolute couch potato too!!! Not cool, I know!

I absolute adore these lashes by Model 21 as they are extremely comfy! 

I was feeling unadventurous with my smokey eyes combination so I decided to give a little "pop" to the look by lining my lower lashline with aqua and gold colour. :)

Hope you had a great weekend! I spent Saturday recovering from my EOFY (aka End of Financial Year) party drinks on Friday, which was quite a let down TBH and the glorious Sunday having high tea at The Victoria Room, Darlinghurst with the Sydney Beauty Bloggers. :)

The weather was SO LOVELY and it hit 20 degrees at one point! It feels like spring and I decided to take my beloved maxi dress and sandals out on Sunday when I met the girls! I love Sydney's weather at days like this! That's right, we are talking about mid winter here. I swear, Sydney's weather is even more temperamental than a woman's menstrual cycle!

I met up with Michelle from Cosmetic Cupcakes at Straty station and train it to the city before meeting up with Tara from Keeping Up with Me and Aryanny from Styleouture at TownHall station before heading to The Victoria Room together.

It's such a shame that I am being a slouch all day in this glorious Sydney weather - a post EOFY party effect. =.=" I have been stuffing my face with unhealthy food all day thanks to the hangover, don't really know how I used to do this every week at the start of the year. I guess, this is a sign of me ageing.
