"I am Chuck Bass"

Whaddup?

I know I have been a little lagging in terms of updating this little space of mine. I am working 4 days this week and I spent my "rest day" (which was yesterday) trying to do my final round of shopping before the end of financial year, hoping to snatch a couple more good deals. When really, I should be (or should of) stalking Chuck Bass, aka Ed Westwick before the entire nation knows about his grand arrival to the Land Down Under - it would of been much easier to get a photograph with Mr Bass himself.

But instead, I have to settle for something like that in the midst of chaos on Pitt St today. Ed Westwick was making an appearance in Virgin Mobile on Pitt St to promote some Super Cap shit and an autograph session at 4:30pm. Clearly, I need more than a miracle to have a close up shot of Chuck Bass, with fanatic fan girls starting to line up as early as 8am in the morning. In the COLD, may I add.

Spot the Bass!!! At times like this, I wish I have media connections :( Pitt St was such a chaos, with fan girls screaming every second (No, I wasn't one of them) and there were bouncers and police trying to clear the "human traffic" for passerby. W and I realised we stand a better chance to catch a glimpse of this British heart throb by "walking pass" the Virgin Store and it worked!

And this probably the best I can get. :( IF only I own a DSLR. I could totally pretend to be a paparazzi like what this Spanish guy did - blending in with the photographers and the bouncers didn't even say a word. W and I both agreed that guys should NOT be allowed to be at event like this, I mean seriously.

Anyways, Chuck Bass talk shall cease here before it gets a too fangirl and bimbotic. LOL Time for some FOTD since it has been a while.

As you can probably tell, I was trying to achieve the dramatic smokey eye look, pretty similar to the Smoke It Out look I created a couple of weeks ago, just using different products.

I used only Maybelline's Stylish Smokes Quad in Natural Smokes to create the smokey eyes, which obviously require heaps of blending. This is one of my all time favourites quad. The colours are pretty pigmented and pay off is good. Definitely value for money, although I think A$14.95 for a drugstore quad is pretty steep. Then again, it's Australia we're talking here. Drugstore products are not much cheaper than "branded" cosmetics.

On my EYES
ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Slate
Maybelline Stylish Smokes Quad in Natural Smokes
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Cottage Cheese
Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Black (Upper Lash Line)
Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black (Lower Lash Line)
Rimmel Glam Eye Lash Flirt Mascara in Black
ELF Eyebrow Kit in Medium

On my FACE
NYX Concealer in a Jar in Light
Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in Natural Beige
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Ivory Light
Rimmel Powder Blush in Pink Rose
Chi Chi Mosaic Bronzer in Dark

On my LIPS
I had MAC Viva Glam Gaga, but it was washed out by the time I snapped these photos.

Before signing off, I'd like to get some opinions from you guys -

To trim my hair (pretty much to reshape my bobcut)

OR

To let it grow and return to its old, glorious days?

I think my current hair cut suits me better but I really miss my long hair days where I was able to play with them and tie super high Asian bun. =P

What do you think?

XOXO,
A
